Pasta Salad
  • 1 cup whole wheat spirals or bow ties
  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • 1 cup chopped celery or green pepper
  • 1 cup garbanzo beans or leftover chopped chicken
  • cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup light Italian dressing
Cook pasta according to directions.  Drain well.  Put all ingredients in a good-sized bowl so you can toss the salad well. Toss gently at least 25 times to distribute the dressing evenly. Chill to let flavors mingle.
