Family Meals Matter
Family meals not only strengthen family ties, kids who have
regular family meals eat better, are less likely to be overweight and do better
in school than children who don’t. Teens who have regular family meals are less
likely to smoke, drink alcohol, or use drugs, and are more likely to have
healthier diets as adults. The older kids are, the more they may need this
protected time together, but the less likely they are to get it.
